WoM Maintenance

The mail servers are currently under maintenance. We expect there to be no downtime but if you do run into problems please be patient.

There was a last minute decision by head honcho h4x to upgrade web servers effecting site activity, however WoM Mail servers and Web Servers have finished all maintenance and are 100% operational.

World of Minecraft's Great Civilizations Week

We have some new maps and themes for this week and they are Ancient Roman Empire for Citybuild, Chinese Mountain
Range for Main, Aztec, Inca, and Mayan Empires for Yin, and Ancient Egyptian Civilization
for Yang. We ask that you please build in theme for these maps. Out of theme builds are subject to staff removal. Be sure to stop by and check these out.

Complications at home! I won't be around much this summer I am guessing. So please redirect your questions to the other owners and execs. You can send messages to me if they require MY attention alone, but rarely is this the case, and I do not recommend it for time-sensitive material. Have a great summer WoM'ers. World of Minecraft Map Contest!

We are holding a contest for the next map for the WoM: Main server!

RULES:
* Map size must be 512x512x128

TIME:
* Maps must be submitted on or before Friday, June 18, 2010.

PRIZE:
* Your map will be featured on WoM: Main
* You will receive an award in your /status.

New Maps

As many of you may have noticed, all of our servers have been reset with new maps!

Main is a terraced map, called 'Terraces'. City's map is now the 'Wild West'. The server is still in theme, but now it has a wild-western city theme. Yin has been changed to 'Life', a forested map. Yang is the opposite of it, with lava and dead trees, named 'Death'(Try to build somewhat in-theme for Yin and Yang, meaning nothing too crazy). 

Moderator applications and Spectator appeals

Sorry they haven't been answered lately guys! On top of the added stress of server development, mod apps haven't been filing right, but they should be now. When you make one, it should give the option to file as a mod app, a spec appeal, or a server submission. make sure to mark mod app. If you don't see that, message H4X about it and just send the link to your application straight to me! I'm hoping that me and the other execs are going to go through it all Sunday.

Mail Server Issues

As a lot of you may have noticed worldofminecraft experienced some mail issues where the site would time out on new registrations/contacting staff and all mail sent to us vanished into thin air.

Moujave and I have resolved all issues now so if you tried contacting us, please do so again.
