New Maps

As many of you may have noticed, all of our servers have been reset with new maps!

Main is a terraced map, called 'Terraces'. City's map is now the 'Wild West'. The server is still in theme, but now it has a wild-western city theme. Yin has been changed to 'Life', a forested map. Yang is the opposite of it, with lava and dead trees, named 'Death'(Try to build somewhat in-theme for Yin and Yang, meaning nothing too crazy). 

Moderator applications and Spectator appeals

Sorry they haven't been answered lately guys! On top of the added stress of server development, mod apps haven't been filing right, but they should be now. When you make one, it should give the option to file as a mod app, a spec appeal, or a server submission. make sure to mark mod app. If you don't see that, message H4X about it and just send the link to your application straight to me! I'm hoping that me and the other execs are going to go through it all Sunday.

Mail Server Issues

As a lot of you may have noticed worldofminecraft experienced some mail issues where the site would time out on new registrations/contacting staff and all mail sent to us vanished into thin air.

Moujave and I have resolved all issues now so if you tried contacting us, please do so again.

WoM Back Online

We apologize for the recent downtime incident solely affecting WoM community website.

We believe we are 100% back online but if you do notice any issues please let someone know in IRC.

The Official Reopening of Moderator Applications!

We are reopening applications for Moderator! If you feel you would do a good job at moderating our servers, fill an app out and it will get looked at.

Rules
1. Must be a WoM member for a minimum of 2 weeks.
2. Do not ask staff members to check your application. It will get looked at.
3. Put some effort into your app. Use correct grammar and spelling and sound professional. Don't just put "i tell others dont grief".

In-Game Rules

Since we have been getting a lot of new players lately, there has been a lot of confusion about our rules. The /policy command does not go into detail regarding everything. I have written out all of WoM's in-game rules in this post: http://www.worldofminecraft.com/Rules. I have also added a link to it in the navigation bar to the left.

To any new players: Please read our rules before playing on our servers.

As a lot of you know, I am currently in America on a business trip and have not been around the community much over the last month.

I'd like to publicly thank the WoM Admins for their outstanding job in upholding the community and pulling together to fill in the extra duties.

To the many people emailing me, please use the forums for your questions.

I should be back in the community next week where there will be some exciting new changes!

Recently we've been getting an increase in users posting the same topics that we have gone over. Please search before you post.  We don't need 50 threads on the same error. If you don't, your answer will be left unattended to if not deleted. Also remember that WoM related problems get priority over non-WoM ones. Thanks!

Fake WoM servers

It has come to our attention that there have been a couple fake WoM servers. Please do not join them. As of right now, the only official WoM servers are Main, Daedal's and SMP's.
