I have version 1.6.6 of the WOM client, and i went through every file and folder that is within the folder i extracted the wom client to. I even redownloaded the client to make sure i didnt miss something. and I cannot find this skins folder. Do i have to make the skin folder? if so where exactly do i put the skins folder.

So I Download Wom cleint and i join a server
and i get like this werid texture pack. it has like 2x2 big
of a block. Is it part of the 1.8.8 update

Why haven't there been comprehensive instructions done yet? These are obviously out of date. The only reason I even -have- a run.bat is because I created a text document and -renamed- it run.bat, and putting that line of script in it does absolutely nothing. I have the most recent version of WoM, which is 1.9.0; It created a skins folder, into which I dropped the TERRAIN.PNG, CLOUDS.PNG, ROCK.PNG, and WATER.PNG that I wish to use. No effect.

I extract my char.png skin to the skins folder, and it is not working. I ask people if they see it and they say no. They just see me as a human. It might work later on... I guess...

I'll try to update this a bit. Maybe it'll clear some things up for people.
(Windows version. I'm not sure how the other ones look, but I'll bet it's similar)
WoM Minecraft wrapper folder = WoM game client folder
There is no run.bat anymore, it's a .exe now so you can ignore that.
1. Open your WoM folder
2. Open lib
3. Open default (if a default folder doesn't exist then create one)
4. Place the new file there (in the folder called default) with the exact name as the one in the minecraft.jar. If you still manage to use one of the old WoM clients that doesn't have a default folder in lib then you need to place the files in the skin folder. (located in the main WoM folder with native and lib)
5. Run the client, and it will use your new skin from now on.
