Help! I cannot log onto minecraft.net, so I have to play offline, but I know that I am connected to the internet whilst I attempt to connect. Am i missing a file or something? I did have to delete minecraft stuff and re-download it.

Once again, please help.

It isn't a 1.3.1 issue, minecraft's login server is down.
