If you are aiming to get a higher rank on SMP, PvP or Realms that relates to a staff rank, you are going to have a bad time.
On Realms we are currently not looking for anymore Staff members on it. There are just not enough people and we don't need more unneeded Staff for that.
On PvP it is basically rules free and most likely doesn't need to be moderated as much due to our plugins that block or warn the players. How about actually trying to have fun getting all those weird rank names next to your name?
On SMP the main idea is to have fun. Trusted ranks are given out to people who don't actively act like they want to be staff. But like I said in the first paragraph, if you are aiming to get a higher rank then you are going to have a bad time. Go make a shop or build something epic or something else.
And basically that's my rant over.

I always think its funny that everyone assumes they will get staff at some point, If that were true there would be alot more staff wandering around the community.

I think a lot of people think "staff" means they get a fancy name and creative mode, but I've been staff before at other places, and it's a LOT more work than that.

Just play and have fun who cares how many servers you staff on, its a game its meant to play and have a good time. if you end up getting staff then good for you till then you shouldnt hint at wanting it cause all it will show is you dont deserve it.

I'm staff on a tekkit server, which has recently started up. Currently there are not alot of people on there, so I have far less experience in being staff, but from what I do know, I don't think I want to be staff on WoM... Too many people... Too many problems.

Good post Lunick. I always say that as soon as you ask for staff, people will assume that every move you make is an effort to become staff.
Moral of my short sentence: Don't ask for staff. (It never works)
