i have tried i whent to my topic and pressed edit and in the title i added (SOLVED) dose that work????

Well itll work in essence, but for a topic to actually be solved a forum mod or staff member has to (solve) it. That will stop people from posting on it. But there is really no reason to create 5 posts asking for a topic to be solved, (like you did in your other one), one time will work out just fine if you feel your question has been answered, while being less annoying. Most of the time you wont even need to ask at all if a topic has really been solved.
