Hey guys I'm trying to get on my friends server with WOM. I can get on using the browser just fine, but I can't when using WOM. I've turned off my firewall, redownloaded WOM, restarted comp. But it just won't connect. I know that it's a wom problem because I can connect and play just fine on the browser.

This is Minecraft classic, BTW.

If u can't log in, the IP has been reset.

Shall I reiterate?

I can log in just fine in the browser. I can play the game in the browser. The browser version of the minecraft client works fine.

The problem arises when I use the WOM client.

Therefore, by logic, the WOM client is the program with the problem. Not the server or the internet.

when i login it always fails, is this a bug? or is it a "you used another account so we will not allow you in"? (i'm not stealing a password) btw is this what the section is for?

new problem :O!

I am having the worst f times trying to play in WoM realms.... It keeps FREEZING on me.... what am i doing wrong? cause i logged in like 6 times a day and it always happens to me. and i mean like login as turning my computer on then off then going inot the WoM game client, help!

Well.

From most WoM Client related problems I've come across, this seems pretty common. So I ask you this:
1. Are you getting any error messages?
2. Have you made any changes to your computer recently? (OS update, new drivers, new modem)
3. Any software that might block the WoM Client? (Anti-virus, Firewall)
4. Have you got the correct version of Java installed onto your system?
5. Any images you could post? If you cant find a site to post images, use this one: imgur.com

Please answer these 5 questions, and I'll get back to you.

2. Nothing recently.

3. I've shut off windows firewall, Malwarebytes.

4. I've reinstalled java a few times, I'm pretty sure it's the right version. In addition, **I can play in the browser.**

I'm have the same problem as Rollercoasting, except I can't even play in the browser now. My message is "Failed to Connect the Server - It's probably down!", I don't know how to shut off Firewall or my Antivirus, and I've installed the latest version of Java.

Java 7?

If you have java 7, Uninstall it. Java 7 is not great with Minecraft classic.
