I have been using Minecraft 1.7.10 and I got a new computer. When I logged in to Minecraft after that it downloaded the latest version 1.8 and I can no longer access smp.womjr.com. It says Server outdated.

What can I do as I liked this server?

First:

Open the Minecraft Launcher, Don't click Play yet. Click "Edit Profile" then towards the bottom you will see a white bar with "Use Version: -----------" Click that, and scroll around until you see 1.7.4, or 1.7.2 if you prefer, But let's just choose 1.7.4. Click that, then at the bottom right corner click "save Profile" and then click play.  All set!

I use 1.7.10 and it works perfectly fine for me. No reason to go back to 1.7.4. But yeah, just go into edit profile before you hit play.

NOTE: After you've loaded a world in 1.8, don't try to load that world in any of the 1.7's. It will corrupt your world.

Tip!

To make sure save data won't get corrupted, you can create a new profile using the "New Profile" button. Just enter a new map destination folder, example:

C:\Users\Your Pc Username\AppData\Roaming\otherversion

click the verson you desire, and there you go! You have a new profile, and your saves/worlds are safe. When you want to choose a different profile, just select it on the bottom-left of the launcher.
