If you could give what the error says that would help us to help you.

Make sure that you are entering your minecraft.net username and password, NOT the ones for here.
Try redownloading the client and make sure that your java is up to date.
Turn your computer off and on again.

i need help too

It says that my pass or user name is wrong but i know them, i also tried my email but it didn't work. i cant download wom anymore it says i don't have a copy of minecraftjar installed and when i hit download it says times stamp check failed. if anyone can help please do. :)

hmmm

Are sure that you are pressing the "Sign in" that is just below the username/password boxes.

You do not want to press the "Go" button next to the direct connect box.

I think WoM should be a mine craft mod because it is hard for me to even get wom and even harder to load it it may be my comp or my comps java I have tried every thing so if it is possible make WoM a mod pls!!!

i also have a the authentication thing

i type in the username and password, sez its not right. why is this?

and i have the latest bersion of java!!

+ i could play in the minecraft.net site earlier

+ i also playd with WOM earlier aswell!

i made a new pass and the problem is the same.

and now... google sez it cant find www.minecraft.net !! (chrome and firefox)

help!

Im having the same problem.

So, here is what happens. I will type in my username which I used 2 days before, and it will say No servers to authenticate/incorrect username or password. Same happens on minecraft.net but it just takes u to generic IE error message cannot connect. So its not LoLCakes problem. There is something fishy going on with servers.

Whether you think you can or you cant-you're right.

Evidentally, I am spending too much time on Minecraft. My mom says that 27 hours a day is way too much.
