I just downloaded World of Minecraft today so I am quite new to this. Im using a Mac and whenever I try to login, a message shows up that says there was an error loading the server list http://minecraft.net/classic/list. It gives me the option to Retry or Continue, but retrying does nothing so I click continue and it gives me an empty list page.

If anyone has come across this problem, help would be much appreciated!

Thank you

Classic is no longer supported, that server list no longer exists on minecraft.net
Best suggestion is to buy the game and use creative if you want it to be like classic.

I have the game. I just don't

I have the game. I just don't understand servers and how to use em. I tried putting in play.worldofminecraft.com into Minecraft itself and i ended up in a weird "Nexus" place where I couldn't escape and there was no one around.

I may have missed something while on the server on Minecraft, but then what was the point of downloading the World of Minecraft game client?

I even tried putting in play.worldofminecraft.com into World of Minecraft but it wouldn't load. It just says error again and forces me to quit.

I am a newbie at all of this so I could just be missing something.

Thanks for your help.

Well...

I'm pretty sure you probably ended up in the lobby. The big nether portals take u to either the smp server (to the left, with 'SMP' written in green wool) or to the nexus server, which is the one directly ahead of where u spawn, with 'NEXUS' written in wool (which is probably what you saw). That one is like World of Minecraft realms used to be; you get your own world to customize however you want.

If you did end up on the nexus server though, you can use '/lobby' to get back to the lobby, or '/nx help' to see what you can do within the nexus server.

Hope that helps!
