I tried to log in with my minecraft.net account, but it says its wrong or there are no servers to validate it.

I downloaded like 5 times and it says 'unable to authenticate. your username/password may be incorrect or there are no servers to validate your login.' Why is this happening? O_o

same is happening to me, but I have already downloaded before these problems, and my java is correct according to the announcement made earlier, and other people are having the same problem. It seems that the login part of wom is broken, because either someoen went in, and changed a letter in the coding, or it just failed with so many users

Same happen to me, it started yesterday i couldnt even go on minecraft.net, i had to use a cached version
now at least i can log on to minecraft.net but not wom i get the same error as u guys, i thought it was only my wom that was going coo coo

minecraft.net was shut down, due to errors, that was not related to wom (found that out recently)
I knew it must be just about all of wom. My brother uses wom (just started recently) and he is having the same problems.

You should find the WoM Client does still let players fully login to the server list albeit randomly and very infrequently at the moment.
The Resume button on the WoM client login screen does still work properly however; but the downside to this is that it will only take you to the last server you played on... assuming whichever server that was is currently up and running and its address hasn't changed since you last visited it.
Alternatively, if you have a WoM Direct connect URL for the server you wish to join that should also work.
Mostly because it started happening at about the same time I suspect this issue may have something to do with the recent problems with the Minecraft Session servers as reported here http://www.worldofminecraft.com/content/problems-connecting-smp-pvp-or-any-server,

Guys, okay here's what I've tried and pretty worked for some times.
I just sign in 2 times in a row, and it should be working.
Sometimes it still refuses, but try like that.
Sign in then sign in again. *NOTE: Before any window opens, just sign in twice".
I know. same happened to me. I even tried main website. Worked fine until I entered login name and password, but then it gets weird. It does not say incorrect username/password or our servers are working to busy. It goes to a IE errour message 'cannot connect.' 'please diagnose connection. No offense, But I am glad someone else has this problem so that I know that I am not crazy.
