Okay, so I start up my Minecraft Alpha, and it said Error something. So, I uninstalled everything that said MINECRAFT and when I downloaded it again fro Minecraft.net, and when I log in it says "Fatal error occurred (5): LZMA : Data Error Extracting: lwjgl.jar.lzma to lwjgl.jar"
Try removing all files in "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin" then relaunching Minecraft.
i have the same problem but what you suggested wont work, it think its something to do with an update that i cant install or download or something :P
i downloaded a rar with minecraft because the main web is down :S
blocks just reset when i click them pls help
hold the mouse button not only click
it happens to me aswell
Windows:
Download Minecraft.exe, place it anywhere you want, then run it.
If that version doesn't work for some reason, try this: Minecraft.exe
Go to run type in %appdata% look for .minecraft file open bin file and remove the files that not have the java icon on or the ''cup'' except the file named version that file is 1kb big dont remove that. Now start minecraft and see if it download correct if not go to same but save resources and saves to deskop (cuase when u remove all and download the game again u will not be able to hear new sounds etc.)then remove the .minecraft folder download minecraft.exe from minecraft.net(temporary site)and run it. Now u put in the resources and saves in .minecraft folder in appdata a FIRST and now u run it and it probably will download latest version withput problem.
how do you uninstall? well when i click on alpha i shows the sand blocks and then goes away. can anyone help???
Go to %appdata%/.minecraft/bin and delete minecraft.jar and go to Minecraft.net and download the Minecraft.exe and Put it where you deleted the minecraft.jar file.
