In Hax, the noclip feature isnt working for me. In the same server, others are flying with noclip everywhere

same...i suppose in a week or so they'll come out with like a 1.8.9 or something that will fix this problem =P im hopeful lol

Debug Time

NoClip works fine for 99% of users.

NOCLIP won't work if the server has noclip disabled. Things to check:

* Are you pushing z? This is the manual noclip mode.
* Have you turned on noclip via pressing F2? This is the automatic noclip mode.
* Can you go to WoM: Realms server and test noclip?

Out of curiosity can you also tell me your OS? and version of the client?

I can't noclip either, I am

I can't noclip either, I am on the same server as another person who is using 1.6.6 and noclip is working for them. I am using 1.8.8, and no clip doesn't even appear on the top of the screen. :-/

exactly the same as 1.8.6 clip doesn't work for me but it works for others on my server.

I have the game client thing than i try to join a server,every single one says "Failed to Connect and that the server is probably down,when i know the server im going into is not =/ pleas help?

for this one, make sure you have port forwarded, let the application and port through your firewall, have the right address. If your server client let's you, try checking the port to see if it's open. I'm sure you could also find websites to see if your port is open. The reason it does this is because minecraft will connect you to the ip, but it cannot find the port to complete you connection.

maybe everyone

that might be happening for everyone. I was playing with someone who has the clip working but no singleplayer. I can't get it to work either. Havent hear of it workin so maybe it's everyone. not sure though. But back to the toppic. Anyone know why I updated and still no clip working?

NoClip Issue

Like moujave said it doesn't work if the server disabled no-clip. A way of telling whether or not a server allows or disallows no-clipping is by reading the MOTD message.

Here are some examples of MOTD messages that toggle WoM Client Functions:

+/-hax - If the MOTD displays a +hax then everyone can use hacks and no-clip. Although, when it shows -hax, nobody can use hacks at all.

+ophax - If this is displayed, only server operators may no-clip and use hacks.

+/-noclip - +noclip enables no-clipping for everyone. If it shows -noclip, nobody can use no-clip.

If the server MOTD doesn't have any special codes like those, by default you get to use the speedhack and fly mod.

1.6.6 had a bug that didn't read the MOTD and ignored it I think. It's fixed in the current version though.
