Pillar of Autumn
Hi, this is a project that me and heeey has been working on for over a half year!
It is a massive replica of the first ship in Halo:ce called "Pillar of Autumn".
The replica is made in 1:2 scale because of the limits in Minecraft, the size is L585xH207xW176 meters.
We are not doing an empty shell of the ship, we will try to replicate all the interior as good as we can.
We are so far about 60-70% done.
Heeey made the texturepack and is also working on mods for the server.

Y= The lenght of the whole picture (12,4cm)
A= X*Y (47,1774194 blocks/ 1 centimeters of the picture)
B= The lenght in centimeters of the part of the picture you want to the size/blocks of
Z= The amount of blocks in Minecraft

There is no other way to build the Autumn in scale in minecraft, if elmo made it any other size it's inaccurate and not as impressive.

It's about 93.4Million blocks I believe , That made me wanna make my spaceship which will have about 132M blocks ^^

We are not trying to make the biggest "ship", we try to make the most accurate replica of POA. I have visited there server and yes his is bigger but it dosen't even look close to the original version from 2001 that we are going after. If you want to make the biggest i wish you good luck :3

Great work so far, Tozsan! I think that doing something in Minecraft that requires such calculation is not only going to be a great challenge, but another one of those monuments that make World of Minecraft Have a great community! Keep us posted on the progresss! I can't wait to see the end result.

I just counted all the blocks of the Autumn so far and it's 944402 (-air)
So this thing that elmos would be 93400000(-air) is bullsh*t!
Not saying any names but i think someone need some extra math lessons.

Maybe a later build as we are still working on the autumn. Also we need a height mod to do that because it's much bigger then POA and even in 1:2 it's over twice the height limit in minecraft. This project have so far taken 8 moths and we are only 70%done,so a build of that size would take maybe 2year.

In WE you can count the blocks of an area , that's how they counted have fun couting X*Z*Y -air

2. "Have fun couting X*Z*Y -air" I did never say i counted how many blocks it's made of using an x,y,z algebra. The comment i made about the x,y,z is about getting the right scale from a picture of unkown scale but even reading the title of a comment seems to hard for you.

Elmos version dosen't even have a inside it's just a hollow shell so there is no details on the inside. and
I think it's you that have to look correctly, Elmos dosen't look like the Pillar of Autumn and if you think it dose you clearly don't know how the Pillar of Autumn look in the first place so here is a picture:

I will take a break from this project. Heeey have already "left" and working on it alone is not fun. We have started a new project, to make a game! The game will be halo inspired but you will play as the flood :3

It's pretty small to the version elmo114 made ;D
