Pixel Format Not Accelerated

So, I'm sure you've seen topics like this before, but I'm looking for some ideas. When I attempt to start Minecraft, I get the following error:
Bad video card drivers!
Minecraft was unable to start because it failed to find an accelerated OpenGL mode.
This can usually be fixed by updating the video card drivers.

Now, the solution here seems obvious; Update the video card drivers. The trick is that I've done that. I've done it more than once, in fact, and tried restarting my computer afterwards. I have a feeling that the problem is with the hardware in my computer. It has an ATI Radeon HD 3450, which has all the most recent drivers. It also has an onboard Intel VGA port, which I believe is what's messing things up. There is nothing plugged into that port, and it's actually disabled in the bios, but it might be the problem anyway.
Is anyone else using a similar setup and playing, or does anyone at least have an idea on how I might get it working?
Thanks in advance
