I would like to create a texture pack, but can't for one reason. I can't get ahold of the original terrain.png, as I do not have winrar (at least I think I don't), and therefor can't get the original image to edit. I have the complete adobe cs4 master collection, and I'm hoping to do cool things with the texturing.
EDIT: Nevermind, I got hold of one from this forum similar to the original one, I'll be editing that.

you can just download a

you can just download a texture and edit that

click on the .png and chose EDIT
if that doesnt works then OPEN IN and choose the program you want to edit the .png's in (i always use paint as i only have it)

Ohh, well i followed this

Ohh, well i followed this from one of my friend`s tutorial

1: Start
2: Search Run c
3: Click on Run and write: %temp%/minecraft.net
4: After this click the oK button and select the minecraft folder
5: then you`ll see minecraft so right cilck and click open with: winrar
6: After this just highlight the terrain.png file and press ctrl+c
7: and just edit it with paint.net or any other pic editing software.
