I have gotten a couple PMs from people so I thought I would let everyone know that The server is currently down. Staff are aware and working the issue and will have us back up and running just as soon as snow gets done beating jup for breaking it.

I'm just questioning the authenticity of that statement, as my minecraft still isn't connecting to the server... (intense sad face here) However, it could just be a problem on my end.

1.7.10 was having problems so they are going ahead with 1.8. Check newsletter for more info :)

Did sponge powered 1.8 released?

Sponge didn't release. Due to the server essentially breaking because of name changes we have moved to Spigot 1.8, for now ;)

Sponge was new, but least updating than bukkit. Its new though, and a new update will release. And my supernova castle will not be there in the new map so i dont know what klockkid did. Probably for the best...

There will be a post on the front page when SMP is back up, do you really think snow would let you guys stay in the dark when something big, like a server opening, occurred? Point made.
