Okay, I have a bad computer with my best Aplha file ver. I just got a new cpu, can i transfer the files? And how?

in vista it should be located

C:\users\***\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\saves\
i suggest making a copy of the WHOLE saves folder and then transfering it
*** is meant to be your PC account name

This is a subject
Copying just the World save folder should be sufficient. I get fancy and make a directory junction to Dropbox so the save syncs across my computers automatically.

You SHOULD be able to by moving the Alpha file over to the other computer via flash drive, if that doesnt work, then idk, cause im 99.9999% sure thats how yah do it.
