Well my noobiest moment of mining has to be when I was mining for iron, but all I could find was diamonds. I had found like 20 diamonds within the space of 10 minutes, and a skeleton shot me into lava. I had fire protection armor on at the time but I had forgotten so I had given up. When I realized I wasn't dying as fast as I should have, I started digging DOWN through the lava for some reason instead of swimming back to shore. In hindsight wi was extremely funny, though.

My best mining moment was when I got 25 diamonds from ONE area without fortune in the first pvp map.

You can jump over 3 block gaps if you do it right. You can even jump over multiple in a row if there's atleast 1 block inbetween

Mine was when a skele killed me. I had a lot of good stuff with me, and everything survived except my fortune 2 diamond pick which fell into the lava. I made another diamond pick and enchanted it and got something like 3x as good as the fortune 2 one: fortune 3 unbreaking 3 efficiency 4. even though i lost 3 diamonds, i still got an awesome pick. AND I ended up blocking off that cave because it was probably like 9999 x 9999 lol and if i kept it i would probably die in it with some good stuff one day.

Mined was when i was just mining and i fell into a 5 by 5 pit then there was a chest and it was not a dungeon and in that chest was 32 diamonds!Then,out of nowhere 4 skele's spawned and killed me.lol

I was once mining really deep and came upon an a big open are with little pillars. :P I was crouching so I wouldn't fall into lava but fell accidentaly and I luckily landed on stone and yet *poof* out of nowhere a creeper comes and blows up sending me flying over lava and onto other stone (it wasnt very wide). I have half a heart left and eat some food to regen. I then turn the corner and find diamonds :P
