Today's sneak peek is... 2 sneak peeks!
Peek 1: High resolution fonts and chat overhaul.
That's right... Chat has had an overhaul. We are now using "better" colors which are more readable on more backgrounds. Full chat has timestamps beside the text, there's a higher resolution font (while still maintaining the feel of minecraft), font smoothing, better drop shadows, and... a chat log!

Peek 2: Automated texture loading.
Wait what? Yes that's right. You can get the client to load the texture you're using for your realm when they enter it. If the user agrees, they will download and use your texture and see your realm in all the glory that it deserves! Seeing it as you designed it to be seen.
In addition to this we support ground-level setting (so you don't end up with ugly borders above your "ground level"), setting of the surface tile that is used to tile out to the horizon, and also setting the color of the sky and clouds and fog to create completely arbitrary world environments.

Are you pro or something? And also, will the texture's auto load in client in server, or will u have to download them offline then get on and view the realm.
Yes, if the server tells the client there's a texture available it will prompt the user to "switch" to the specified texture. If the user accepts (or has it set to autoaccept) then it will download the texture (if it doesn't have it) and apply it automatically.
We're hoping this will increase the usefulness of textures. At the moment they're not very versatile because basically you're the only one that sees it the way it's supposed to be seen.
Hey it looks great, where can I download it?
These are only previews of the upcoming release's new features, expect it out sometime next week.
I see the brick fire glutch that appears on most yexture packs with a high resolution.
I actually have a static lava/water mode which should be toggled on when the resolution is above 16x16, but it's not working for some reason. I'll have it fixed for release though.
Ask someone called UberFox to help you, he specializes at this kind of programming, he has made something called Habitus which has many items, like rails, and custom textures, you can ask the people at MCForge.net, down in one of the two chat's. Also, looks nice, but now this just might ruin the game, It would be better to keep it the same, or you have an option for each individual addon. Like the "Enable Hacks" Buttone like "Enable Textures" and "Enable Text" Good job Though!
Awesome !
hah the picture shows who spreckle "actualy" is
this looks good keep it up
omg its triddEn!!!
Thank you so much, it looks really awesome
will this new client work for me if ive had problems with the previous ones? because my 1.6.6 client stopped working for me, and i hope the new one will work, because ive stopped playing minecraft classic since i dont have World of Minecraft anymore :(
Probably not. You'll need to do some work to figure out why it doesn't work. Searching the support forum is a good place to start.
If your problem isn't there, explain it in as much detail as you can in a new post in the support forum.
STILL GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE!! fix it plz
I posted in the support forum, but I guess with 1.7 being so new, nobody knows yet.
How can I set up my Minecraft Classic server (McForge) to serve up custom textures to World of Minecraft clients?
