What is World of Minecraft?

World of Minecraft or formally known as WoM is a custom server created to stop griefing and to permit user to use special commands that were once denied to them in normal Minecraft.

You can become member on the WoM server just by registering! By becoming a member, you gain access to the rest of the map for building and additional commands to use while in game. Exceptions may be made if you have been convicted of griefing.

If you were spectated on WoM, you must apply to become a guest again. Spectator Appeal. After that, it is up to the WoM Administrators to decide whether or not to accept your application.

We have a section called WoM Commands.
It includes a list of commands for each server rank.
You can also type /help in game.

Players are awarded builder or architect by WoM Administrators for showing exceptional building skills. It is not easily earned. There is also a two-week minimum for either of these ranks.

To be a WoM Moderator you must first meet a few requirements:

IRC, internet relay chat, is used by WoM members to discuss WoM and Minecraft related problems, improvements, promotion\demotions, griefers or miscellaneous chat.

Players can fly by using WoM's Custom Client Wrapper
In this topic, there are instructions on how to download, install and use the custom client.

In WoM, you can create gold, iron, coal, water and lava by placing a "/" in front of the name in your chat window, for example I want to use "water" you would type "/water" in chat.

To lay the special block you must use rock, which is the icon in the top left corner of the menu bar (accessed by pressing "b" in game), once placed this will then turn into the special block that you have chosen.
