Common problem/Questions
Q. where do the screenshots i take go?
A. it depends weither u are using the World of Minecraft client or not, if you are they will be in the same place as the client exe. if not they should be in your "my pictures" folder (this is for PC idk about mac or linix)
Q. why are there no severs showing up?
A. this could be for may reasons like minecraft.net is acting up or your client is buggy ect, if the sever you are wanting to get onto is World of Minecraft realms then try using the direct connect feature (you need to have a World of Minecraft realms account to do this) 1.login to World of Minecraft realms 2. open your client but do not login 3.on the womrealms page u have just loged into your username will be somewere on the page with some info about direct link simply click and drag ur name into the box on the client that has mc:// in it. if done properly this will then take you to the severs loading screen and then you go from there
Q. how do i add texture packs?
A. first most texture packs are made for minecraft beta, but if you have the client follow this quick guide by uplusion23:
1. When File [TEXTUREPACKNAME.rar] Is downloaded, use a program like WinRar, and extract it, you should come up with three or two [.PNG]'s
2. Go to WomRealms.com and sign in.
3. Scroll down, until you find "Upload new texture"
4. Select your texture type, weather it is the out-lying water, or in-level textures.
5. Click "upload"
6. Now you have a box in green, where you must name your upload.
7. After naming it, click the "Edit" next to your accounts name.
8. Finally, scroll down to the level where you want the texture pack to be, and click "set theme", and place the texture pack in there. Now press save!
also for those of you that are unsure on how to phrase you question/problem here is a simple format:

I am familiar with using the World of Minecraft client. However, with the last 2 version of the client, (1.6.2 and 1.6.3) i have been unable to start a single player session by clicking the "Go" button with a blank server bar. I just get an error message saying i am missing a bunch of server information, and prompts to retry or quit. And i don't seem to be the only one with this issue, either, though i've looked around and have yet to find an answer anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And incase anyone asks, i am able to connect to servers just fine. i just can't generate levels.

This is not a thing where you can't build because ur not allowed to. Its because when I left or right click to build or destroy, it takes me to the menu screeen, its not because of the controls, i've checked that a million times. Please fix this. It has been getting very annoying. And when I keep on trying to build, sometimes the controls dont even work and to get it working again i have to left or right click a million times.
My Computer runs on Windows 7 x64 bit

Well when i do the left or right click button on the mouse in Minecraft Classic on the World of Minecraft client, it takes me to the menu (where it shows options, back to game, save etc.) And It does that instead of doing what its supossed to do. (build/destroy)

I just downloaded the World of Minecraft client and the other day it worked fine, but now its not working anymore.
When I open the launcher and loggin, the server list is blank, and upon exiting I get a Fatal Error message:

So, everytime a join in a server its OK, but when I switch to another serer within it, my client will freeze when its finished loading.

if u are using the client the way to take screenshots in multiplayers if to press t to enter the chat menu to free up the mouse then click on screenshot i dont know if it works if u press Esc
also it may just be a glitch on ur computer because on 1 of my computers i cant take screeshots

the main 1 is that the sever is lagging very badly witch happens areound once a day on realms were it then needs to be restarted

So whenever i try to go to a map that is 512 512 512 or bigger I will have a very little chance of actually going to the map. Instead my screen starts to flicker between the loading screen and just black screen. Add your nick to Admins.txt file in server directory, relaunch server
2) If Beta:
Type in server console: op [your nick]
To set home or spawn... AFAIK, spawn is not settable, and home is individual for everyone. S
Install CraftBukkit to your server and plugins:
1)SimpleHome
2)Permissions
3)Multiverse
With them you can let everyone set their homes and only for you create worlds/portals/new spawn points (not very sure about last)

ok so that is an old toturial here is what i did
download the file
extract it with winrar into a empty folder on ur desktop
run the exe from the folder on ur desktop
(it will then ask if u want to download the minecraft.jar file, click yes)
close the launcher
re-open the launcher
now ur ready to go

I started playing in single player, saved the map as a ".mine" file, then closed the client. Then when I opened it back up, go into the menu, click "load file" or whatever it is, then double-click the .mine file, the screen just kinda flickers then stays on the "load file" page, and the map that I saved doesn't load. I have loaded World of Minecraft & it seems to work OK but I changed my control keys to use the arrow keys for normal navigation......playing via World of Minecraft over-rides those keys with the default WASD which are not great for me because I use mouse with left hand.

Hey! I got a server for me and my friends and it works great but when I tries to connect to it via World of Minecraft it just says "Failed to connect. You failed to connect to the server. It's probably down!" and I know it's not that, me and my friends can connect to it although through the minecraft launcher.

some people gave me ip servers but i can only use mc:// and when i got a mc:// server, i tryed it but it said login failed or the server is not connected, so how can i get on the minecraft servers

I get a problem with logging into my hamachi server with World of Minecraft client. I have a window saying it is connecting, but it doesn't do anything after that. http://www.minecraft.net/play.jsp?ip=My.Ip.HERE&port=25565 so the address is put in properly I think and i don't get any error messages. Ive let it sit for 15mins.
