Build Off Has Begun!

The Arena Build Off has Begun!

Go to CMP, type /comp, grab your Wooden spade, claim some land and get building!

Rules:

Up too 4 people may work on 1 entry
You may not work on more then 1 Entry or you will be disqualified
Be mindful of the other builders around you when claiming a plot
No Trash talking
No Spam
No Abuse of Redstone / Mob Spawning - Anyone caught will be Banned and Withdrawn from the Build Off

Please include the names of your team members (If you have any) on signs on your claim. We expect every team member to contribute to the build, no one is getting a ride down easy street.

Additional Information

iIf you need flat land to work with, any staff member will be more then happy to flatten out an arena for you (within reason)

Please make sure you read this post to find out what game types are you can build for. Have a game type in mind that isn't on the list, feel free to PM MrSnowGlobe to see if we can accommodate your idea.

Here at WoM we take great pleasure in looking for ways to keep things "interesting"

The most requested feature we get on WoM is Arenas. Well we are happy to finally oblige...

We're happy to announce the next CMP competition...

The Arena Build Off

Design an arena for any of the following:

Spleef
Capture the flag
Mob Arena
PVP

Teams of up to 4 Players may work on one entry.

There are no Theme or Size restrictions for these Entries, let your imaginations run wild!

We're looking for creativity as well as functionality for these arenas!

More Details

Once the Build Off has come to a close, Stand out builds will be picked and then its up to the community to Vote on who the winner is!

The Arenas will be playable in Hub World for the Voting Process so that every arena is shown in its final form, it isn't just about the looks, also about how it plays!

The Build Off will open this Saturday and will run until the first Weekend of July.

Greetings!

Been a busy few weeks for us at WoM!

Another round of updates:

All Servers Updated to 1.5.2
PVP has been offically launched!
Following PvP's release, Stats have been reset(Not Clans)
CMP dynmap tweaks
CMP performance improvements
Moved CMP spawn Location
Added Comp World to CMP (You know what happens next... )
Attempted to fix some connection issues
Whitelist is now Global

Howdy All!

Just a quick update on the servers!

PVP

In its current form, PvP has been doing very well in the testing phase, with a few minor issues that should be cleaned up shortly. Simple Clans seems to be playing up at the time of this post, should be fixed within the next day

CMP

Has undergone quite a few changes since we first flicked the switch. It has Dynmap installed, which you can find at cmp.womjr.com. Remember, to gain access to that you need to type /web while in CMP.

Like always, I welcome all feedback, good and bad. Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

WoM Servers - In Progress

That's right folks we can now Officially announce that our brand spanking new servers are now open for public use but we need your help!

Everything is still in progress so instead of us holding back everything for us to test internally, we thought it would be a great idea to let you guys help us out!

So, how do you help us out you ask? Well, its simple! Just post in this thread any issues you encounter. Be sure to explain briefly what the issue is and what server it is on.

At this point in time, PvP Is available. CMP is just around the corner, we promise!

EDIT: Chest's will now have actual Item's and coupon books will be for Animal spawns and other creative items such as repairs. if you come across a chest, feel free to leave something behind. Also, chest will be labeled so you know it is a prize chest and not someones that you are griefing.

Basically, on the SMP map there will be random chests placed by me and Yenwood, and any other staffer that thinks a reward needs to be added.

When at spawn, in the Northeast corner you will see this board.

Well guys, I have good news and bad news.

The good news is that we are back in business. We have started a fresh with all servers! SMP is back right now with PvP and CMP to follow in the next day or so! (Server is also 1.5.1)

The bad news we will not be restoring userdata and maps, we are starting fresh (see post below this on front page for more details). Time to look forward to a fresh and faster WoM! -H4X

In light of recent events, we are pushing to bring a lot of awesome new features online as quick as possible!

If you have any feedback or complaints please feel free to comment in this thread or message me.

Lunick Edit: This is also a chance for (almost) everyone who has been banned to be able to join SMP again and try and redeem themselves.
