I have to say that I really think premium memberships should be totally free. It would attract a lot more visitors to your site and more people would play on World of Minecraft realms. people do not really care if you put up a few more advertisements on your website to make up for it. I know I certainly wouldn't. What do other people think?

in all honesty i dont see the point in free premium. i meen think about it . althow yes it may bring more players to the game it would also give the advantiges for nuthing whatsoever. and then the people that bought premium befor it was free would just have wasted money. and whair would the owners get thair funding from . donation only would not cut it.

Alright, in my post I did say free 'within some requirements' not just start throwing out random premiums to EVERYONE. And with the advantages, the advantage is having the beta version. There's a lot more people without beta than with it.

true the owners would have to worriy about where to get their money from. but why not do what many other game owners do and make the free membership but have premium items that you can only get if your a paid member. you know give the free members the basics like all tools and weapons up to a certain type such as iron and anything higher than that you have to be a paid member to create it in multiplayer

Listen, I understand your point.
However that will never be free. Lets say, for example; and (I do have this); I have Adblock Plus. They won't get revenue from me from ads.
Premium is premium.
Understand that premium comes with an cost.
If you are generous enough to pay some money
for thier servers, you will be rewarded;
I know people cannot afford this sometimes, and you
will just have to deal, there are better things
in life then an measly World of Minecraft Premium Membership.

I think premium should only be free for one or two days, thus letting people who don't pay a lot of attention to Minecraft may keep playing Classic.

I totally agree with you, I think that premium SHOULD be free, within some requirements. More people would definitely come just to see what's going on. Then they would start exploring and BAM they're playing some Minecraft. You made a good statement.
