It has been brought to my attention that with the rise of WoM, has come a sort of a condescending mind set shared by admins and members alike. And I’d like to set things straight.
WoM and The Archives are not, have not, and will never be at war. Constantly we see a conflicts between WoM members and Archive members. There is always fights over which server is superior (Which is absurd, both servers are so vastly unique it’s impossible to compare the two).
One thing I have noticed about these fights, It’s usually between admins. What do you plan to accomplish by having petty quarrels with each other on which server is better? These aren’t tribes. We aren’t cavemen. None of this is necessary. All you are doing is setting a horrible example for people who just want to come in, build, and enjoy the flavor of whatever server they are in.
So to the admins of WoM:
If you are caught flaming other servers, harsh punishment will be delivered.
And to the admins of The Archives:
We’d really appreciate if you’d not flame us in the realization that we don’t tolerate such here.

I always thought that The Archives were some sort of museum, personally I haven't come across any fighting.

Seems a good idea.
I'l discuss it with the other administrators and see what they think.
I believe the wom conflict rumor when someone posted "Wom is attacking us!", when it was just a bug with the server crashing when managing the wom client. Something on the lines of that.
I have never seen flaming directly to wom on the archives.
Also we deadmined a fair ammount of adminstrators, and banned a few arguement starters.

If triddin could tell us the protocol he uses to sync with the list, we could implement the spectators too.

Thank you Triddin. However, I don't quite understand how you laid it out.
Is it a list of admins and what they've done? Are those random numbers dates? How would we add to it?

it's tab seperated.
The first entry on each line is the griefer name, the subsequent entries are admin notes on the user. The admin notes are prefixed with a unix timestamp (wiki it) and the ^ character (for the newer notes, the older notes don't have a timestamp)

well for all the archives pepole here im scaream and i don't wanna be at war i wan't peace so let the admins on both server please calme down the owners of both server's will try to make it stop for now just make sur not to flame

I don't really observe any animosity from either camp. It's more the users who are all like "X is better", "No Y is better", "You're stupid", "No, you're stupid".
But users are always like that, there's not much you can do to stop their warring ways.

For the Archives ppl, i am Bubsaroni. (you probably guessed that.) i dont like fighting, and i am fairly nice to ppl, so i dont rly get this. HOWEVER. this is somthing we can not tolorate. these ppl need to get it thru their thick skulls and realize that the archives a WoM are NOT enemies. we are the to best custom servers. we get along quite well. we are all friends here on minecraft, and i think that we should just all shut up about this. TO PPL WHO THINK THERE IS A WAR: there is not a war. the archives is an extremely good server, as are all of the WoM servers. figure it out.

Triddin, thanks. If I could, I'd like to discuss some ideas with you on IRC. If it's possible to do them, then the two communities could be much better linked, and we could help stop the bad press for both sets of servers.

Write a program or PM me or Revenant with the protocol and how we'd access it.. Maybe it'd be easier to use ArchiveBot on the main WoM server, give it the rights to do it? Might work better, and we already have bot experience and that username.

I am a mod from the Archives and am usually also on out IRC chat. I have never seen or heard any admin fights since I came here. I know this topic is old but I don't want anyone to think this is still going on..Because it isn't.
