Why should I donate?

First of all, bear in mind that the WoM Game Client is free. It's made freely available to all registered members of World of Minecraft, and membership to the site is free.

We believe that it should remain free forever. But it costs us money to develop the client, add new features and provide the great support that we do on the forums, and elsewhere.

Adding new features and maintaining the game client, as well as providing support costs a substantial amount of money. By donating some money, you help to fund the ongoing development, support and hosting of the WoM Game Client. As well as making sure that the client remains free for everyone to download and enjoy.

Just think, what if one day you come to download the latest version, and there was no download link because we can't afford to keep it all running by ourselves?

As an added incentive, we also allow donators to provide feedback to the developers about what features they would like to see implemented. If there are enough suggestions for a big feature, it's a small and easy to add feature, an exceptionally large donation is made, or it's an especially good idea, we'll try our best to add it in for you guys.
