Connect lost, Login failed! Try again.

This really shouldn't be this difficult, I have tried using the 'hack' client multiple times on multiple accounts. My Java is updated, I can connect fine on minecraft.net, it's port forwarded, but it wont work.
The error in the title is what happens when I use direct connect, and when I click resume.
When I just click "Login" I get this
"Unable to authenticate
Your username/password may be incorrect or there are no servers to validate your login."
