I have a problem... I know that World of Minecraft isn't working, but the dc link does...

I own 6 minecraft server from local hosting, and I'lve always found a problem with trying to connect to them from the same ip adress as the servers. I found a way around that through the World of Minecraft software, but I don't know any other way. If there is a way to do it with the direct connect link, or through minecraft.net please try to respond asap.
