Mario, judging from that error message it looks possibly like a problem with a video card driver.
I'm guessing your PC/laptop has an ATI video card in it, these have been known to have issues running minecraft. You could try updating your video card driver as well as doing a quick search of the forum here for solution(s) for ATI video card issues if the driver update doesn't help.

Heh, new client, which I can't even get to work. Only an error sound goes off and nothing else pops up, no window, nothing.I have latest Java, even put Minecraft.jar into lib, nothing works.

Yes, I also have this problem. Double-clicking the file named 'World of Minecraft' causes an error to appear, which reads "Could not create the Java virtual machine."

I've got it up and running, with all the hacks working fine, except that all the textures in the skin folder won't work. Is there a way to fix this, or am I missing something?
(Running on Vista)

Okay so i think ive found a bug. When i try to switch world in a server it says its loading and after that the window gets white. So i tought it was something with the server so i tried another server and it didnt work there either. Anybody else having this problem?
But overall i like the new client. The only thing i miss is the switch/reload button.

yeah i'm having the same problem. i'm using windows 7 64 bit, and i've even tried compatibility mode. nothing works.

ok. it finally gave me the error that the "native" folder is empty, and that i need to reinstall. the native folder is not empty. it has a windows folder with a couple of dlls. i reinstalled, and nothing changed.

You need to extract the World of Minecraft software first when prompted, just clicking run will cause this error.

So you can't reload a server, and you can't go back to the server page without restarting it. The only good thing about this is that it is (for macs) in app format, and that it auto-downloads the jar. Which isn't really worth the loss of those top two.

This! (<-- click) is what i get. Just teh same prob as the last one.. And when i press x (circled for some reason :P) it comes up; "creating, planting" thing... Got any solution?

DoleDuck, usually a totally blank server list window like that is caused by logging into the World of Minecraft client with your worldofminecraft username/password. That will not work, you actually have to use your minecraft.net username and password at the World of Minecraft Client login screen.
And yes, pressing the red X button in the corner of the client window, whether you logged into the client correctly or not, will automatically start a single player level, so in that respect it's not a fault the client is infact working correctly.

Run it in XP mode if you are using Vista/7.
