It has been 23 days since the world went black and everyone fell asleep. When I awoke the world had, had, had Renewed itself... The Great and Amazing grasslands I grew up in are now a deserted desert. Maybe, I'm in another world or a dream... But, that is then and this is now. It didn't take long for life to spring back into every corner of the lands. Great cities are popping up everywhere. Great nation of power fighting over who will control the resources. Just walking down this road is unheard of in the darkest part of the world, where the sinister Guards of CHAOS rape, plunder,and pillage. That's why I do what I do. I bring light back into the world. I Guard ORDER. Seeing the bright lights of Haven lets me know that there is Hope! My trip is over for now, but tomorrow I will resupply, get some more potions, and maybe compete in one of the arenas for some extra loot. I never know what my life will bring now, but I do know there is a weak and helpless people out there that need my protection.

When asked what is so great about Haven, I find it hard to answer. Not because I can't think of reasons, but because I can't think of how to describe everything without spending a half hour discussing it. Which is really hard btw with in-game chat. Why I love Haven...
Well for one the community. I may be biased but I think we have the best group of minecrafters out there. And I love all 500 of them.
I think the staff is amazing. Finding a server where the staff actually interacts and listens to players is rare, especially with one this size.
The amount of things to do on Haven astounds me. If you want to build, go build. If you want to pvp, there are 3 arenas plus a mob arena. We have contests, adventure map areas, daily loot areas, weddings and events, plus so much more.
And all the custom plugins are just.... wow.
I reccommend anyone to come on and give it a chance. You won't be disappointed!

All towns have to start somewhere, and this is the grand beginning to Acurus. AArock1234 is the current mayor and I am the town leader.. Our main features-
- Underwater monorail-travel under the sea to our closest island for more plots and more shops!

If fighting is what floats your boat Haven offers many ways to PvP. /warp PvP is a fun a portion of the map dedicated to pvping where everyone can enjoy the thrills of swinging your swords and axes around the vast terrain, they even give you free armor with a short cool down. /warp pvparena is also another neat alternative.
Don't have any gear yet want to fight? /warp pvp and pvparena too hard for you? Try out the battle grounds or arena! (/bg j & /arena j) Here you can fight without fear of losing your stuff.
Wanna PvP anywhere on Haven? There is a plugin which allow global PvP which is called "guards" Join it and live life on the edge never being safe! (This is a Hero+ only perk)
Haven has an McMMO plugin which further expands the PvP experiences
Haven also runs an Elo system, you can climb your way up the ranks and prove you're the best at PvP!
Towny
Tired of being griefed? Wanna run your own town, nation even? Haven has a plugin for that! Towny is the thing for you! There are tons of towns to join or if you're up to the challenge run your own!
Events
There are tons of other events to do! /warp events shows a full list of them all. From events you can get rewards, experiences and money! Random loot chest could even be lying around spawn. Explore your way to riches! One of the the most popular events is /warp pirate.
Adventure Map
The server has incorporated a pirate themed adventure map filled with fun, excitement, and most important legendary loot for you to explore!
iConomy
There are tons of ways to make money. /warp events has many things to do. Voting gives you money and experience. You can also create shops in town! It's up to you to figure out how to strike rich!
RankUp
You can donate 10 USD for Donator, 20 USD for Benefactor, 75 USD for Saint & 200 USD for Legend. Can't donate? Hero only takes 100 votes and Lord only takes 275 votes. If you really show your dedication to the server, 1000 votes will even get you donator rank!

The server's admin is horrible... that photo is of his ex. Ever since they split he has been off the deep end trying to distance his Mods from the general population and perma banning people for stupid things. He is up to a few thousand perma bans personally. You can check his own wall where he post that he loves going through the ban appeals and rejecting people... even posted a music video of Christan Baile using extreme profane language and said that is what he thinks about when doing the ban appeals. The server was fun when you first start but the people that you end up running into when trying to get involved in the community killed that fun then brutally pulled it apart. Mish, if you read this please think about how abusive you have been and what you really want in your life. Negativity will get you negativity and that is why you are losing people from the server and your staff if factional instead of inclusive.
I am sorry to have ever voted for this server as a top server as Minetown is 100% better then this if only because of the community.

TOWNY: Haven offers this awesome plugin that beats getting raided and losing all your stuff on Facrions servers.
You can set a Town Mayor, along with town ranks such as Helper, Assistant, and Leader. You can add tons of people to your town and each person can have their own Plot to build a house and store gear! You can also create OR add your town to a nation along with other allied towns and you can Ally or Enemy other nations for battle!
PVP: Haven has an awesome pvp setup. We use the plugin /pvp which allows you to track your Kills, Deaths, Killstreak, Elo, etc. Hundreds of Hardcore pvpers battle it out at the multi-biome PvP or at private arenas to reach the throne of /pvp top!
We use a custom plugin called Guard. This is for the insane pvpers who want constant fighting. You can join the Order or Chaos guards, each giving you custom spells to use and giving you a custom colored tag above your name.
MCMMO: Haven has this amazing and fun program with our own custom touches to it.
Some of the skills you can level up on are:
Acrobatics
Alchemy
Archery
Axes
Excavation
Fishing
Herbalism
Mining
Repair
Smelting
Swords
Taming
Unarmed

And the higher you level up these skills, the more efficient they work.

Every good story I have ever read has a good guy and a bad guy with
100's of supporting people who contribute to both sides. The truly great
stories make this more complicated with there being enough plot points
to confuse who is truly good or bad! I have never enjoyed a story with a
true "hero" someone who could never make a mistake or do something
wrong for I have never met such a man in my life.
We are all capable of fallacy. The echoes of this depend on that persons reach.
My reach has extended to over half a million people who have visited our
server in three years. I have certainly been correct and justified on
many occasions but I have obviously been mistaken in others. I am just a
man who has tried to do what he felt was right at any given time and
nothing more.
I hope those who have read our forums for years have seen I am gracious
when people admit to mistakes. Enough time has passed that I no longer
consider myself as "HavenMC" since so many people have contributed to it
over the years it is greater then one man alone could make. I am a
small part of the history. We have been able to do so many great things
from a simple minecraft server that we owe a huge debt of gratitude to
everyone. Since again, what great story does not have conflict? none.
So with that in mind I am lifting all server bans.
For some people I have been the good guy and for others the bad guy.
This decision creates the possibility for a new story. Who will you be?
That is for you to decide. For me, I just want to try and continue to be
consistent and continue to learn as I make my way through this thing
called life.
No matter who you are or what we have been through. Thank you for being a part of my story.
