Just wanted to follow up on the thread Java 7 and the World of Minecraft Client/Classic Minecraft which is locked:

1. The "Even if you have Java 6 installed with Java 7, you'll need to uninstall Java 7!!!!" statement isn't totally correct.  Might I suggest that it be worded as: "In general, you should only have Java 6 installed, and uninstall Java 7.  If you have some need to have both versions installed, you can force World of Minecraft to be launched using Java 6 by running for example 'C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\bin\java -jar World of Minecraft.exe'.  If you don't know how to run this, just uninstall Java 7."  That way you don't have to write long instructions explaining things about command lines or shortcuts, but give more technical people the information they need to know, i.e. that World of Minecraft.exe is a jar file.  I only found out today that it's a jar file from some other post on here about debugging, I'm very glad to have seen both that post and this one, thanks!

2. I don't know if this is an appropriate place to make suggestions about improving the World of Minecraft Client, but I notice that World of Minecraft.exe seems to be made using the tool "Launch4j", and the page for that software says "The executable can be configured to search for a certain JRE version".  It sure would be nice if World of Minecraft Client itself made sure it was using Java 6, if that's actually not too hard to do!  The Launch4j documentation seems to suggest that it will pop up a message, which the developer can customise, if it can't find a JRE version that matches the specified criteria.

Thanks for a great client & forum!
