Hello World of Minecraft community!  I have been testing my previous version of Rise of the Rebels (RotR) for 4 games so far and have gotten great feedback to help develop the game further.  While I am not abandoning the first RotR map, here is a brand new map and full game mode for you to enjoy.  I guarantee this will run much smoother and be a bit more intense.  This mode has not yet been tested, and will not be until we get some plugins running to ensure a smooth gameplay.

Rise Of The Rebels Act 2: Oasis.
The Rebels, once co-existed with the Blue Royals quite peacefully.  With the election of a most corrupt politician, riots became a natural sight in the streets of towns.  Funding of schools and kitchens were cut drastically and instead were put towards exploring and conquering new lands.  The resources of which went to do more of the same, as the world never seemed to end...
The chasm between the Blue Royals and her people began to stretch.  Many skipped town and formed an alliance of citizens who were devoted to bringing back the honest land that once was.  They were called: The Green Rebels.  This story has an quantum f***-ton of socio-political-economical factors that I won't go into, but trust me, it's epic.  
The fight has spread to the Oasis.  Large scale battles will shape the land...

This game area is much larger than the previous arena.  Naturally this map is made for a large scale game. EG) 8v8 and up. 10v10 seems ideal though.  
There are some big changes from the first map of RotR.
First off:
    There is no longer "sections" to the game.  The game begins, and you continue playing until the game ends.  There is no timer on doors opening to an arena whatsoever.  The entire walled area is open from the get go to do what you wish.  
     You can build with ANY material now! The only thing off limits on this map is fire.  Fire spread and lava will both be disabled when playing this map.  TnT IS FAIR GAME!
There will be one game mode played throughout.  We are still working out what game mode we will be playing but we have a few ideas.  Hop on vent if you'd like to share your own thoughts, I would love to hear them.

Media To Give You An Idea:
The Lost Library is an anti-pvp area where items may be traded.  It also acts as a Pre-Game-Room.
The Blue Royals will have a small town this time around.  
The Green Rebels have been outfitted with more bunks this time around.  Prepare for a MASSIVE war!
But the Blue Royals are backed financially by the Province...
All the Rebels need is some organization, and everything will fall into place...
Important locations such as this may be a vital spot to build up and defend...
Sand might be scarce, but digging redstone.... hmmm

TO DO LIST:
Plugins:
   -We're in the process of installing the right plugins/mods to ensure a smooth game.  This may include chat channels, or respawn points.  The game is still very much vanilla style smp however.  The plugins are meant to allow the game run a bit more autonomously.
Objective Brainstorm:
    -What will the goal of this map be?  We're still brainstorming ideas and are up to suggestions... let me hear em!
Test Games:
    -We need to test the game! That means we need game testers! That means YOU World of Minecraft! If you are at all interested in the development of a game like this, hop on the ventrilo server and inquire about testing, or a tour of the map.
