Excuse the username

I'd like to discuss gathering materials in public pay servers now, As i'd like to get others thoughts. Do you only join servers that let you spawn whatever you like? Or do you join servers that make you farm the materials? Personally, with no risk or anything, I don't see a point making the users farm the materials, just a time sink, but, What're your thoughts?
