We have moved Public SMP onto a bigger server and concluded our testing phase, thanks to all those who tested out the system.
Public SMP now has 80 player slots and is open to everyone once again (whitelist and smp portal are back online).

The performance have been excellent. The best I've (and many others) have experienced. Played non stop for an hour and a half without any lags, slow motion, connection lost or people typing away there time complaining.
The game started without a hitch. Usually I have to retry again and again before I'm logged in to the server. Then, like many others, get kicked off and have to try again. Sometimes it can take up to 5 to 10 minutes before I can get in, and then...
Thank you very much for the use of a bigger server for the World of Minecraft Public SMP and at the same time keeping our world and things intact during procedure.

Ok, people have been asking the same questions over and over again so I'll answer them here:
Regarding Public SMP:
- There will be a new map for 1.3 but some old builds will be moved from the old map to the new map. The main reason for the new map is because we want new chunks to spawn and a lot have already been explored. Also don't ask us when 1.3 is because the date hasnt been announced, just stop worrying about it. We will tell you when the time comes
- The ip smp.womjr.com most likely won't be permanent and will probably be publicsmp.womjr.com or psmp.womjr.com in the future but that is up to H4X.
- The server will also get a Dynamic Map soon if H4X does whatever he does with that
Regarding World of Minecraft - SMP:
- This server will not come back until Mojang releases the Mod API which is currently slated for 1.4. Public SMP has NOT replaced our SMP and when and if the old SMP comes back, it will resume on the smp.womjr.com ip.

I was part of the server before the upgrade to the larger one and now I can not get back on can someone message me or post the new address because i would really like to be able to get back on and play.

So then is the normal server coming back up on smp.womjr.com? because I heard it was updating on 1.3 but now I don't know if thats going to happen.
