i have a good suggestion: /z    it would cuboid with the block in your hand

Hmmmm

That could be helpful for when you don't know the name of the block which you are using.

But you can find out the name by placing it and using /tile

yes! I hate having to type in /fill solidiron or /fill darkgrey

That command would be nice to have. or at least not having to type in the tilename

learn to get used to other things. i also dislike having to type the entire tile name to do a /fill but i got over it and went on doing my own thing

/fill has been a part of WoM forever and it was our version of /z

I agree with Lunick, /fill won't change simply because something would be easier, /fill also gives you the ability to place blocks that are not in your inventory (Bed Rock, Water, Lava, etc.)

yes you can actualy use /z for lava, water, bedrock (blackrock/brock) but still there really is no point of changing the command. maybe suggest for making block names shorter or making it so you can use what you are currently holding. other than that /z would be a useless change from /fill as they could do the exact same things with some programing
