Help please, I've been struggling with this for a long time. I've been doing google searches and I still haven't found an answer. Because of this I can't join any classic server even it's online or not.

What' i've done:

-Reinstall Java

-Reinstall Minecraft Classic (From %temp%)

-Reinstall WoM.

Thats happens some times to me but i use WoM but the server is down or there might be a bug with minecraft classic multiplayer, Not really sure mate. :D

this might fix it..

I had the same problem, but all I did was go to add or remove programs on control panel, and i removed java 7 update 4 but i had 6 already in there, so i basically downgraded it. It worked for me.

reisntall your internet cable then restart your computer... then it works that was my issue when i was first join minecraft

The best thing you can do is...

You can probably check your router's configuration, since it seems to be a connection problem. Try seeing if port 80 is working correctly. [Even though port 80 is for internet browsing]

I think i know whats going on

Im having the same problem but iv seen stuff like this and i think classic multiplayer is removed,Its happened with WOM too so there is no backup :(! Notch wants us to get full version so he blocked classic multiplayer!

Failed to Connect - one player online
