Hello². I am GoB, and I have only been on Minecraft for about two days, and know virtually nothing about it. I also know almost no rules except Don't grief. I hope that you will enlighten me on Minecraft, what the point is.. blahblahblah...
But anyway, I am honored to be part of this group, in a nutshell. :)

I will take your advice. Though I am not sure I can get the hacks (parents), I am glad you share the same idea I do about Minecraft. :)

Welcome to World of Minecraft =] as u have probably already been told u can see the rules by typing /policy while in game or by searching through the site.
I like to believe the "point" of minecraft is to meet awesome people and have fun as well as show off your creativity by building.
I guess u could check out the many different servers including the main World of Minecraft server, try out survival mode if u decide to buy the game, and try out the "hacks" and textures that various users have made like mine ;) and if u need help downloading these things u can watch my vid tutorial or get on the IRC for quick help. It's always nice to hear World of Minecraft is growing and getting new players(that don't grief) so welcome.
