In Minecraft when you have bought the game you can play something called Minecraft Alpha ...
But there is a sign in Minecraft aplha Launcher There is Called Multi Player..
How is that working=?

you can use WoM Survival mode
you can use WoM Survival mode on multiplayer.
Go to:
There will be a long list of survival servers you can go to. To connect to one, there should be an IP to the right of the server information, copy that, and paste it into the multiplayer survival IP text box, press join or whatever it says and you should get in :)

You have to know the IP address of the server you are joining (like a friends server, etc). Or you can download the custom client ( http://www.worldofminecraft.com/Downloads ) and join public servers from the downloaded version. Plus you can fly, move faster, move through objects, and more.
