How can I turn hacks off?

I tried World of Minecraft server as a possibility of getting my server working, since the official one wasn't connecting right. Ever since then, even on single player without World of Minecraft running, my health keeps regenerating. How can I stop this?

If your talking about alpha,
If your talking about alpha, check to see what difficulty your playing on. If its peaceful, your health regenerates

I wasn't running it in the World of Minecraft client anymore, so I didn't have that option.

Ty, that's exactly what it was. I had switched it to peaceful so I could mess around with some dynamite throughout the night without getting bothered. :)

At the top of the client there is a checkbox that says "Enable Hacks". Simply unchecked that box. :)
