because i am only 15 and i don't have a credit card >.< this game is awesome and it makes me mad knowing that i have the money ..but i just cant buy it ... >.<

i know its in its alpha stage ....so when will it be in stores ..because i love this game >.<

I can't fully answer your question, I don't know when the Beta is coming out, but what you could do is make your parents or someone else you know with a credit card buy the game online (the Alpha), and pay them back. As for having Minecraft in stores, we'll have to wait, I guess ....

Second, seeing as Minecraft is an indy game being developed by a single programmer, I find it very unlikely that the game will hit retailer shelves any time soon, if ever.

the game will never come out in stores, it's an indie game...the only way to buy it is online.

This is what I do but it depends where you live -- There are things called Prepaid credit cards which work. You just pay money + $5 for them to activate it and you can buy the game. I get mine from gas stations, the cheapest ones are about $15 I think.

A little abuse keeps the joints loose.

if you live in the uk you can get a debit card with some banks. I have just turned 16 but I have had one since I was 14. i believe its the same in the us.

You've probably had your question answered, but the developer said that it will only be released via the internet. What I would suggest like one person said is to get a pre-paid credit card. That should work well.
