EDIT: i dont like that new posts appear on the top of the screen and not on the last page... i also dont like that i have to hit preview first and THEN to hit save... =(

I prefer this look, I dunno about functionality though.
Old website had a whole bunch of redundant features, so I'm not bothered if you cut some options down.
I'll have to toy around this new layout for a bit to make up my opinion.
First impressions are good though, Thumbs up.

it seems that there are slowdowns on the website for me since this update
takes longer to load the site then it did bevore

Nice to see you added the grayer background to posts, but I think it looks pretty bad with the blue header/footer for posts. Make those a darker gray maybe?

Grey post background is good, although the old skin seems to be inheriting some of the new settings. Old black skin has the new grey/blue post backgrounds, but still the old white text, making the old skin unreadable (without selecting text to highlight). But hey, more reason to use new skin.

Link color still doesn't stand out enough from the blue backgrounds. With the new grey content background, I'd suggest lightening the blue shade, perhaps in conjunction with changing the link color.
SMP's red subtitle WoM Mafia in #ff0000 doesn't work against the blue background either; bleeds really badly with itself, hard to focus to read it.

Otherwise, still looking great so far!

Yes the new Layout style is very nice i hope he let that style thats the best of minecraft earth
