<WM> isn't a bot. He logs in as a regular player, and has made spelling mistakes before and then corrected them. Therefore, not a bot. :)

<WM> is a bot. On Minecraft.net you cannot use < or > as characters in a username which makes it a bot and can only be forced to log into the server.

why would they?

Admins can speak as themselves to get stuff done, and people listen to actual people a lot more than a bot.
