First off just to state im not staff but for now i am dealing with problem for snow while he is away so please just pay attation.
Right now there is a Map Corruption going on with the SMP side of the server, MrSnowGlobe knows of it and so does the rest of the staff. There is a plan to reload the map before the corrupion. That means that at this time any new builds are going to be removed if done After Nov 28th. Now that does not mean you can grief, Any Griefing found will still get you a ban so you must follow all the rules. The recommanded thing to do is when you hop on the SMP/PVP server is type /pvp and have fun on the PVP map while things are still getting fixed and upgraded.
Note this is a new edit to update people on the current problem and what will happen

We don't neeed any of that, we are just simply going to replace the map with the uncorrupted version.

luckily my new castle is fine so far....

Good to know that we don;t need to be on the lookout. but 2 or 3 of those were a little ways away from spawn proper so hopefully those will be fixed as well

To the north of spawn is trashed, Theres atleast one big hole i counted in my pumpkin farm I didnt spend to much time looking though

When is the replacement happening? The chunks ruin the look of this server. And jup's shop was on a corrupt chunk, so it cant be used.

Too bad, you shouldn't be on that map whilst it's corrupt. Anything you build there won't be saved.

just cause the map will be resetted on SMP side of the server does not give you the right to do any type of griefing. you are to still follow all rules on the SMP map

Yes, people have already started griefing things and this is not acceptable. Any grief found on the corrupted map will get you banned.

Niels was building his castle over the weekend as wolf was messing with him. Also, others were chating in game explaining to other people that the smp map is going to be rolled back so any new builds will not be there. I saw the info about the map being rolled back in game before the forums and promptly stopped working on my submarine. Just goes to show that it pays to take a look at the chat window every so often.
