Hi, I really need help. When I downloaded the WoM Client and started it, there was a window that said I could choose between 3D Software and 3D Hardware, I chose the hardware but now it lags too much.
How can I change the Hardware to the Software? I've tried to reinstall the WoM Client but it won't work.
Any ideas?

delete it and download it again
or mabye its in /client

I've got the same problem as above and deleting and downloading again didn't work. Whether or not it has to do with the client idk.

Im going to ask around and try to see if anyone knows and if I find out then ill tell you but I really want it switched to software to. So hopefully ill figure it out and ill tell you guys.

I contacted the World of Minecraft support team and they sent me an email telling me how to change it from hardware to software. This is a copy of the email:
To respecify the acceleration options, you can type in an option at the login screen at the Direct Connect url.
Simply select the input field that says "mc://" and type "redetect" and press enter. It will give you a message that "GL redetection enabled". Proceed with your login and it will give you a chance to tell it to use software mode again.
