Hi,

I was thinking about purchasing Minecraft. I just wanted to make sure if it would run on my computer.
It has: 32 bit Vista
          2GB Ram
          Intel(R) Core(TM)2 CPU 4400 @ 2.00GHz 2.00 GHz
Graphics Card: Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family (I know it sucks)
Also: If I'd like to play with a friend that is in the same house, would one purchase be enough, or do we need to buy it twice?

Thanks!

should run it

Your computer should run it just fine. If it lags just adjust your video settings. I'm not sure about your friend, you might be able to copy it to his computer using a flash drive or something like that.

Only just...

If you run a 32-bit computer, you would only just get it working. In other words, it would be very laggy.
I run a 64-bit computer and I hardly get any lag at all. So, Minecraft is actually more recommended for 64-bit.

Also, yes, once you have bought the game, you can login any computer and download it! No extra purchases required!

Lol, one says it'd run, one

Lol, one says it'd run, one says it wouldn't... Anybody else? And I know that I can download it on every computer, but could we play at the same time together with the same account??

It will run fine.

To play survival (beta) you will need to purchase it. You both need an account as its USER based not IP based.

If you are going to play classic all you need to do is register a free account.

Also your computer will run it fine, it's the graphics card that is the issue, all you need to do in game is press 'F' to reduce fog and perhaps tune down the graphics in 'Options' ...
