Just dosnt work, a mate and my self set the config.txt up on his webserver etc etc and put the motd as cfg=*******.com/config.txt and all we get as the motd is "cfg". This was on mclawl.
I also tested on fcraft it displayed the whole motd but nothing has changed, still boring old white fog.

There's a more complete guide up at http://files.worldofminecraft.com/textures.php now which leads you through the entire process step by step. I've confirmed that it works on a vanilla server.
If you follow this procedure exactly and it still doesn't work, let me know.
Just FYI, you need the "&0" first so that it looks like: "&0cfg=******.com/config.txt", so that might have been your problem.

Alright it works on vanilla but doesn't work on mcsharp variants (mcforge etc)
Our config file was dodgy >.> so we used yours.
Im guessing its the "cfg=" if you put that anywhere the whole mod will just be "cfg", it will also be black if you enter "&0cfg=files.worldofminecraft.com/text.cfg"

Ok, I took a look at your config. It has some issues that I can see.
You're using ":" instead of "=" in some places.
EG: "detail.user: ABC" should be "detail.user = ABC".
You're also using hex color codes, they need to be decimal.
So: "environment.fog:#fa2f2f" should be "environment.fog = 16396079"
To do this conversion, simply open up calculator, put it into programmers mode, switch to base 16, enter FA2F2F, switch it back to base 10 and copy/paste the base 10 number to your config.

With the mcsharp variant (mclawl/mcforge etc) problem with the "cfg=" in the motd would you be able to change the way it connects to the url just so you can get rid of the "cfg" thing...im not very good at explaining.
tl;dr
Get "cfg=" out of the mod so we can have cool colours, is this a thing you can change or do we have to talk to the mcforge/lawl developers ?

http://files.worldofminecraft.com/textures.php is a detailed set of instructions how to do this on your third party server.
If you are on World of Minecraft Realms, then you just login to your control panel at World of Minecraft Realms, to change your realm settings.

Im having the same problem as above as givo
ill have
motd =&0cfg=http://download75.mediafire.com/1x67vns4a1ng/bv4t84k6wof8mhj/(myservername).Config
and when i load up my server it wont do anything but make a black cfg on the loading screen.
please try to ACTUALLY help instead of just giving a link to somewhere else that does not help in the end.

I did all the extract, upload texture pack, and changed the colors on the panel and saved it. But when I went to my realm it didn't asked me if i wanted to use the custom pack. I need help :(
