Is there a rule on obtaining a house that is abandoned? Like if there is say a dirt house next to a place you want to build and it has been there for weeks, no chests inside, or say there is half a built wooden store that was started 2.5 weeks ago and no work has been done since and the person hasn't been seen in a while.

the rule that is set in place with abanond area's and/or banned members areas is this, (set by H4X) you do NOT touch it at all. the person might come back and claim it again

mods can sometimes move them farther from your build if you are expanding and it is in your way. That might be better than just removing someones build just in case they do come back.

What you could do, is see who placed the blocks and ask them to pay you for land or to develop further. Just make that place into a plot and build what you wanted there somewhere else.

Generally, its ok to take apart things like small dirt shacks, outlines of a house, ect if they haven't been touched for weeks. Ask a mod or admin for larger things or any building if you aren't certain. We can see who placed it and when.
