Hey, guys! So, here is the thing, I am a bit of a... Let's say nervous gamer. So I like to ease my way into new games. I am playing minecraft free trial and it is awesome! EXCEPT fo one thing. I can not stand ambience. makes me jump every time and scares the heck out of me. I wont play trial for a week. this results in me playing with sound off. The sound is awesome though. so my question, or should I say two questions are, Is there a mod to turn off ambience and can I put mods on free trial?

Ambience is the wierd sounds you hear when mining and sometimes above ground.
I think you can disable ambience by turning off music in the settings.

No, if there's a closed, empty space near you, it plays a random sound.

Ok, is there any way to do it with music on, though? I like my jukebox and the random C418 tracks that are played. well except ambience. Which, coincidentally is also made by C418.

For that I would need to download minecraft and that requires well... buying it. I hope to get full version by the end of the year. But, let me get this straight. Ambience is definetely under music, not sound. right?
