It started today, the animal (pig and sheep) spawn is acting kind of crappy, every time I kill a herd of them and look away, another herd of about 10 sheep or pigs appears. This gets really annoying, expsecially since they are destroying my farm and crowding up my house. Their annnoying animal sounds only add to it all. Also, all this gets even more annoying at night, because my area that I'm in has alot of torches and it makes it so that my place is the ONLY place the sheep spawn at. The animal problem makes minecraft annoying to play, anyone else experiencing this animal spawn problem? I wish I could turn animals off or something because they are more of a harm to me than the monsters...

Well, it doesn't really have to do much with World of Minecraft, but I was just wondering if it was a problem with anyone else or if it was just something weird that was happening on my computer. I'll report it on the official forums soon, if someone hasn't reported it already.

Rofol i must agree on this lol World of Minecraft is for nothing on this and yes i also get this problem in infdev =P
ps: if you build a bridge build side on it other wise animal will killyou XDthey already pushed me out of them lotts of time

I just started getting this problem today and it's like they are constantly spawning in my farm, cus I kill them all, look away, and then look back and atleast 20 sheep have spawned in the middle of my farm again lol XD

well I found a good way to counter this and its by having farms covered with 1 block hovering above each farm tile.
I found this animal proofs the farm land, which would increase the life span of the farm.

that is a pretty good idea, NoSoul, but, atleast for now, spawn is acting normal again on my comp :D btw sorry people for posting this in the wrong place.
EDIT- wait actually it's still spawning loads of pigs at night around the farm because it's the only light area (torches), so I guess I may use the block idea after all lol.
another EDIT- okay I got on later and now that one save file that I was using just crashes right when I open it ): I think I'm gonna go ask Notch now.
