Hey mjp96,
With paypal being the only way to buy the game currently, it has caused a great deal of grief for users unable to use that method of payment.
With this in mind, I'll toss out a few small suggestions for you:
> Apply for a debit card from your bank and purchase the game yourself.
> Create a paypal account, connect your bank account and transfer funds over. This will take forever and a day.
> Ask a parent (nicely) to do it for you. Possibly throw in that it's somehow educational for you and that you'll learn a lot less without it.
> Ask a friend with a paypal account or a debit card to buy it for you. Note that it's against the rules on this forum to ask someone here to buy the game here for you, so I mean a real life friend, and pay them back (maybe).
Also, be cautious as always if you do decide to buy the game, make sure that you are using the official paypal website over a secure connection, and make sure your minecraft password is a safe one!
It should also be noted that the game isn't getting any cheaper; in fact, it's going to get more expensive as the development continues out of alpha, so it's best to buy it quickly if you want to purchase the game before the price goes up!

Currently there is no other way. Though hopefully there will be more ways in the future. Maybe convince your parents to buy it for you?
